FAQ's

Are your products 100% natural and organic?
We only use ingredients that are 100% approved for natural skincare, and are naturally derived or naturally occurring in the skin. Many of the ingredients we use are also certified  organic, biodegradable and sustainably grown.

What is the shelf life of your products?
Our product’s shelf life is between 6 and 12 months after opening, simply look at the number inside the little jar icon on the box of each product. We make all our products in our studio, in small batches to ensure upmost potency and freshness, if you buy directly from us you are guaranteed that the product was made in the past 4 weeks.
 
Do your products contain preservatives?
All products containing water, aloe vera or hydrosols must be preserved in order to be safe to use as per international cosmetic safety regulations. We choose naturally derived preservatives that are effective but gentle on the skin and are approved for use in natural skincare.
 
We do not use Parabens and Phenoxyethanol
 
Are your products vegan and gluten free?
To the best of our knowledge all our ingredients are gluten free, however we are not gluten free certified. All products with the exception of Phantom moisturizer are vegan, Phantom moisturizer contains a very small amount of milk lipids as part of a liposomal delivery system for ceramides.


Are your products safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Yes, all our products are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding but we still recommend consulting with your physician before trying new skincare.


Would the Plant Voodoo cause purging?
This product may initially cause purging for some people (usually when the skin hasn't been exposed to exfoliates before), this is a normal reaction and it is a sign of accelerated purification and skin exfoliation. 
If purging occurs reduce the frequency of use to 3 times per week for the first 2 weeks, then increase to 5 days a week for one more week. After this initial period you can use daily.
It is important not to stop using the product if you experience purging, we know it is uncomfortable but it will be worth it.

How long do your products last?
The full sizes will last between 2 and 4 months, the minis will last up to a month, depending on how often and how much of the product is used.
 
How long before I see results?
Some people see results overnight, for others it takes a lot longer but in general you can expect calmer and more clear skin within 4 weeks.

Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free shipping on all orders over $65 USD flat shipping rate of only $10 for orders under $65 USD.

How fast would I get my order?
We are committed to fulfil your order within 3 business days but during busier retail times it may take longer. Typically, we fulfill orders the same day.
 
Shipping times in USA and Canada take between 5 and 10 business days.
International orders take over 4 weeks due to Covid 19 situation.
 
Please note that we are still seeing the impacts of Covid 19 on delivery times.
 
Do I have to pay for duties?
 
For all orders outside Canada, you may be asked to pay for duties, this is out of our control and the amount depends on the value of your order and your countries duty and taxes laws and regulations.

Do you except returns?
We know frustrating skin conditions and sensitive skin and realize that everybody is different and can react even to the most natural and gentle ingredient. We also want you to be happy with your purchase and that is why we offer a 30 day return policy, no questions asked.
